Luke Young's spectacular late effort completed a memorable Torquay comeback as they beat Wrexham.

Young's 25-yard volley with six minutes remaining ensured they went above the visitors up to third in the Conference, while Wrexham slip to seventh.

Former Stoke youngster Louis Moult put the Welsh side ahead, beating Martin Rice after he had blocked the home goalkeeper's clearance.

Louis Briscoe levelled with a low drive and Young sealed victory late on.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Wrexham boss Kevin Wilkin: "To lose it to the wonder strike that we have is disappointing, but again there's no lack of effort.

"I think every team this year has worked really hard to beat us so there are lots of positives about what we've done today, again.

"But final third we weren't great in the second half and [we were] a little bit indifferent in the first half."
