Morecambe have re-signed goalkeeper Scott Davies on a one-month loan deal from Fleetwood.

With both Barry Roche and Andreas Arestidou injured, the Shrimps were short of goalkeeping options.

Davies came through the youth system at Morecambe, making 21 appearances for the club before his move to Highbury Stadium in 2010., external

"When I've come back here I've always had a good reception," the 27-year-old told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"It's a case of ticking all the boxes. I needed a couple of games under my belt, for whatever reason at Fleetwood I've not been playing, and they asked me to come and help out for the month."

Davies helped Morecambe into the Football League for the first time in their history when he started at Wembley in the 2007 Conference play-off final win over Exeter., external
