League One strugglers Crawley Town have signed Woking forward Dean Morgan on loan until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old has scored nine goals in 25 league appearances since joining the Cards from Wycombe last summer.

"This is probably an unexpected opportunity for him again to play in League One and I believe he will take it," said manager Dean Saunders., external

Crawley winger Charles Banya, 21, has joined Woking on loan until the end of the season as part of the deal.

Former Fulham youngster Banya had a spell at Kingfield last season, making eight league appearances for the Surrey club.

Morgan has played more than 400 senior games for a host of Football League clubs, including Reading, Luton and Wycombe.

Meanwhile, Crawley midfielder Marvin Elliott has extended his short-term contract until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old has scored four goals in 14 appearances since joining the West Sussex club in September.

The Reds have also confirmed that goalkeeper Brian Jensen has been ruled out for at least eight weeks with a thumb injury.

The 39-year-old was hurt during the 2-2 draw with MK Dons earlier this month.
