League One strugglers Crawley Town have signed Nuneaton Town midfielder Lee Fowler on a 93-day loan deal.

The 31-year-old has scored three goals in 21 Conference games since joining Boro in September.

Fowler has previously worked with Reds interim manager Dean Saunders at Wrexham and Doncaster Rovers.

"I know his qualities. This is a good opportunity for him to prove his ability at League One level," Saunders told the club website., external

"He is the sort of player who can make us tick in midfield."

Fowler began his career as a trainee at Coventry and has had a nomadic career, which has included spells at Huddersfield, Burton, Forest Green Rovers, Kettering and Kidderminster.

Meanwhile, Crawley have made Dean Morgan's loan move from Woking into a permanent switch.

The 31-year-old, who has made two substitute appearances for the West Sussex club since joining last week, has signed a contract until the end of the season.
