Stevenage defender Darius Charles has made 33 appearances for Boro this season
Stevenage left-back Darius Charles will miss the rest of the season after breaking his leg in the draw with Bury.
The 27-year-old adds to a growing Boro injury list, which already includes several starters.
Speaking after the Bury game, manager Graham Westley blamed the pitch at the Lamex Stadium for the injury.
"It was a very difficult surface and we've suffered injuries tonight where players have gone down pot holes", he told BBC Three Counties Radio.
Westley has also confirmed that centre-half Jon Ashton could miss more time after re-injuring his ankle.
Ashton was playing his first game since having surgery to treat the original injury he picked up against Morecambe in November.
