Cheltenham have signed Bury's Pablo Mills, Notts County's Shaun Harrad and Scunthorpe's Matt Sparrow on loan until the end of the season.

Striker Harrad, 30, returns after scoring 10 goals during a season-long loan in 2012-13 which helped the Robins reach the League Two play-offs.

Midfielder Sparrow, 33, has spent 13 years at Scunthorpe in two spells and played 437 games for the club.

Defender Mills, 30, has been with Bury for a year, making 44 appearances.

He counts Derby, MK Dons, Walsall, Rotherham, Crawley, Macclesfield and Rotherham among his former clubs.

All three players go into Cheltenham's squad to face Tranmere Rovers on Saturday, with Russell Milton looking for his first win as caretaker manager.

"They are the sort of characters we need, so hopefully they can go on to become heroes for Cheltenham Town," Milton told the club website., external
