Rotherham United offer new deals to Craig Morgan and Ben Pringle

Rotherham United have offered new deals to defender Craig Morgan and midfielder Ben Pringle.

Morgan, 29, played 38 times while Pringle, 25, featured 43 times as the Millers kept their Championship status.

Goalkeeper Tony Thompson, 20, defenders Mark Bradley, 27, Richard Brindley, 22, and Mat Sadler, 30, and midfielder Rob Milsom, 28, have all been released.

Keeper Scott Loach, 26, and midfielder Conor Newton, 23, have been transfer-listed after one season at the club.

Boss Steve Evans told the club website: "It has been nothing short of a long, informative and strange sort of a day, but as always with football at this stage of the season, some tough decisions have to be made.

"It goes without exception that I would like to place on record my sincere thanks and gratitude for every Millers player who has appeared in our colours this season."
