League One side Gillingham have offered a new contract to goalkeeper Glenn Morris but manager Justin Edinburgh has decided to release four players.

Morris, 31, made 12 appearances for the Gills this season and started their last nine league games of the campaign.

Defenders Gavin Hoyte, Leon Legge and Joe Martin and winger Danny Galbraith will all depart Priestfield.

Youngsters Aaron Millbank and Josh Hare have been offered six-month deals by the Kent club.

Left-back Martin, 26, joined them from Blackpool in summer 2010 and scored eight goals in 179 appearances.

Centre-back Legge, 29, moved to Gillingham from Brentford in 2013 and featured 30 times this season, scoring four goals.

Ex-Arsenal trainee Hoyte, 24, played 35 times after joining last summer while Galbraith, 24, featured just seven times after signing a short-term deal in December.
