Northampton signing Alfie Potter scored four goals in 35 games in all competitions this season
Northampton Town have signed winger Alfie Potter on a two-year contract.
The 26-year-old worked under Cobblers manager Chris Wilder at Oxford United, but joined AFC Wimbledon in January, 12 months after Wilder's departure.
Potter was also part of non-league Havant & Waterlooville's run to the fourth round of the FA Cup in 2007-08.
He told BBC Radio Northampton: "It was a no brainer playing for Chris again. I've had an up and down 18 months after a bad injury and want to kick on now."
"I went to Wimbledon to get a run of games, now it's my challenge to get back to the level I was at before under Chris."
Potter happy to rejoin Cobblers boss
Potter made 113 league starts for Oxford over two spells since 2009, but left by mutual consent in January.
He joins a Northampton side that finished 12th in League Two, 10 points below the play-off places.
