Vamara Sanogo: Fleetwood Town sign former FC Metz striker

Fleetwood finished 10th in League One this season

Fleetwood have signed striker Vamara Sanogo after a successful trial period.

The 20-year-old Frenchman, who was at Ligue 1 side FC Metz, impressed in four development matches.

He is the Cod Army's third signing of the summer after striker Declan McManus and full-back Amari'i Bell.

"He is a young striker who is a bit unknown, but he is very powerful, very quick and direct who wants to get involved with people and cause defences problems," said boss Graham Alexander.
