Kevin Lisbie: Barnet sign Leyton Orient striker

Lisbie scored 48 goals in 125 appearances for Leyton Orient

Conference champions Barnet have signed experienced striker Kevin Lisbie on a one-year contract following his exit from Leyton Orient.

The 36-year-old only made eight appearances for the O's last season and did not feature for the east London side after February.

The former Jamaica international spent time on loan at fellow League One side Stevenage, featuring three times.

"Hopefully I can help the club achieve some good things," said Lisbie.

Ex-Charlton, Colchester and Ipswich striker Lisbie joined Orient in 2011 and scored a total of 48 goals in 125 appearances during his spell at the Matchroom Stadium.

"League Two will be a bit different so I think the team will need that little bit of experience," he told the Barnet website.

"I am looking to bring my knowledge and to help other people score goals but at the same time I am a striker, so I will obviously be looking to score plenty of goals myself."

Lisbie is Barnet's third signing since their promotion back to the Football League. Earlier this week Tom Champion and Ben Tomlinson agreed deals with Martin Allen's side.
