Five more of last season's squad have agreed deals to play for Truro City in the forthcoming campaign.

Les Afful, Dan Green, Arran Pugh, Matt Wright and Issac Vassell will all play in the National League South after helping the club win the Southern Premier League play-offs last month.

It means 13 of the 14 players from last season that manager Steve Tully offered deals to have accepted them.

But Tully says he is looking to bring in some new faces to his side soon.

"I think the middle of the pitch and a centre forward is a must," he told BBC Sport.

"We would also like an experienced goalkeeper that has been there and done that who will push Tom McHale on, as it's a big ask for him to step up again.

"I think the left-back situation might need to be resolved because we can't go into the season without a left-back.

"We want a squad of about 18 or 19 players because then everybody knows what's happening and everybody's not too far away from the first team or in the squad."
