Clark Robertson: Blackpool sign former Aberdeen defender

Robertson made 68 appearances for Aberdeen over five seasons

Blackpool have continued their recent recruitment drive by signing former Aberdeen defender Clark Robertson on a two-year deal.

The Scotland Under-21 international had been with the Dons since the age of eight, but was recently released.

Robertson, 21, can play at left-back and centre-back and the deal includes an option for a further year.

"My ambition when I came through the youth system was to get down to England," he told the club website.

"I want to force my way into the team here and see where it takes me."

He joins Brad Potts, Kyle Letheren, Colin Doyle and Jarrett Rivers as new signings by the Seasiders ahead of next season.
