Ipswich Town have completed the signing of Arsenal youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles on a season-long loan, with no recall option

The 17-year-old has already made three substitute appearances for the Gunners, including last season's Champions League 4-1 win at Galatasaray.

The midfielder has also played for England at Under-18 level.

Meanwhile, out-of-contract midfielder Darren Ambrose is training with Town in the hope of earning a new deal.

"Arsenal want me to get a bit of experience under my belt and I'm happy to do that. I'm still young and there's plenty of time for me to develop," Maitland-Niles told the Ipswich website., external

"The Championship is a tough league but one I feel ready to perform in.
