Barnet have signed forward Shaun Batt on a two-year deal after he left Leyton Orient earlier this summer.

The 28-year-old former Peterborough and Millwall man scored one goal in 21 appearances for Orient last season.

He will be reunited with former Orient team-mate Kevin Lisbie at The Hive, after he also signed for Barnet in May.

"It is a good club with great facilities and I am looking forward to getting some stability back in my career," Batt told the club website., external

"In terms of circumstances, it is a great club for me and I knew that it is the right place for me to be.

"The guys had a great year last year (winning promotion into the Football League) and I am more than happy to play a part in what will hopefully be another successful season."
