Yeovil Town have made their 14th signing of the summer by bringing in Carlisle United striker Mark Beck on a two-year deal.

The 21-year-old 6ft 5in Scotland Under-19 international still had a year left on his existing contract at Carlisle.

"I have watched Mark from afar for a while," said Yeovil boss Paul Sturrock.

"He has great talent. He had a successful loan spell at Falkirk last season and managed to force himself into the Scotland Under-21 squad."

October Brunton Park return for Beck

Yeovil are scheduled to play Carlisle United, when Beck will be set to return to Brunton Park for the first time, on Saturday 31 October.

Sunderland-born Beck, who scored six times on loan to Scottish Championship Falkirk over the second half of the 2013-14 season, has scored seven league goals for Carlisle since his debut in April 2012.

"He is a big lad at six foot five," Sturrock told the club website., external "I am hoping with that kind of target man and the pace we have, we now have someone who will give us an out ball should we need it."
