Striker Mark Beck has agreed a new deal with Carlisle United that will keep him with the club until the summer of 2016.

The 20-year-old, who has won Scotland Under-19 honours and been named in Under-21 squads, has scored 10 goals in 63 games for the League Two club.

He spent time on loan at Falkirk last term, but returned to score three goals in 14 games for Carlisle this season.

"It is pleasing to see a young player showing commitment to the club," United boss Keith Curle told the club website., external

"Mark has had success and disappointment at this football club. Some people have shown confidence in him and some people have discarded him.

"The pleasing thing for him is that a new regime has taken over and shown willingness to work with him."
