Aurelien Joachim: Luxembourg striker joins Burton Albion

Aurelien Joachim has won 51 caps for Luxembourg

League One side Burton Albion have signed Luxembourg striker Aurelien Joachim on a one-year contract.

The 28-year-old, who was most recently at Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia, has made 51 appearances for his country at international level.

Brewers manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said: "He (Joachim) will bring goals, hopefully. He's got real experience.

"We expect him to lead the front line when he plays and challenge our strikers for a place."
