Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem has completed his loan move to Rangers until January, with the possibility of extending it if all goes well.

The 18-year-old, who has dual American and Germany nationality, watched his new team-mates beat Hibs 1-0 on Sunday.

"He will be training with us tomorrow and will be part of the squad," said Rangers boss Mark Warburton afterwards.

"I am delighted to get hold of him. I'd like to welcome him on board. He is another young, very talented player."

Zelalem made a substitute appearance in the Champions League last season, having made his Gunners debut in the FA Cup in January 2014.

He played for the USA at this year's Under-20 World Cup, having previously represented Germany at youth level.

Zelalem, who featured in Arsenal's pre-season games, is the third player to join Rangers on loan from the English Premier League, after Nathan Oduwa and Dominic Ball arrived from Tottenham.
