Nathan Baker: Bristol City sign Aston Villa defender on loan

Nathan Baker came through Aston Villa's youth system

Championship side Bristol City have signed Aston Villa defender Nathan Baker on a season-long loan deal.

The Worcester-born 24-year-old central defender, who can also play at left-back, came through Villa's academy and has made 88 appearances for the club.

The England Under-21 international has also had loan spells at Lincoln City and Millwall.

His only appearance for Villa this season was in their League Cup second-round win over Notts County.
