Coventry City have signed striker Lateef Elford-Alliyu on a four-month contract after a two-week trial with the Sky Blues.

The 23-year-old, who started his career with West Bromwich Albion, spent last season at Maltese side Valletta.

"We've been really impressed with Lateef and we believe he has plenty of potential to progress here," said Sky Blues boss Tony Mowbray.

Elford-Alliyu has previously had spells with Crawley Town, Tamworth and Bury.
