Ross County have signed 24-year-old goalkeeper Gary Woods on loan from Leyton Orient until January.

He arrives the day after Daniel Bachmann cut short his loan in Dingwall from Stoke City as he wanted guaranteed first-team football.

Bachmann had found himself behind Scott Fox, signed from Partick Thistle this summer, in the pecking order.

Englishman Woods began his career at Manchester United before moves to Doncaster Rovers and Watford.

He switched to Leyton Orient last summer and made 23 appearances but has not featured since January and their relegation from England's League One.
