Inverness Caledonian Thistle have signed Miles Storey and Tobi Sho-Silva on loan deals until January, subject to clearance.

Storey, 21, joins from Swindon Town while fellow forward Sho-Silva, 20, comes in from Charlton Athletic.

Caley Thistle manager John Hughes was anxious to bring in another front man.

The Scottish Premiership club lost Marley Watkins to Barnsley in the summer, while forwards Edward Ofere and Tarmo Kink also departed.

Storey came through the youth ranks at Swindon, but the England Under-19 cap has yet to become a regular starter with the English League One club.

He had talks with St Mirren in the Scottish top flight in January, having spent the first half of the season on loan to Portsmouth.

But Storey, who played 22 times and scored three times for Pompey, eventually remained in League Two with Newport County.

He found the net twice in 20 outings for Newport and has only made two appearances from the Swindon bench this season.

Storey has had previous loan spells with Salisbury City and Shrewsbury Town while Sho-Silva has spent time on loan with Welling United.

Caley Thistle this summer recruited Spanish striker Dani Lopez, but the 29-year-old previously of La Roda in his homeland's third tier has only scored once in seven outings.
