Bury have re-signed former Republic of Ireland international keeper Paddy Kenny and agreed a new contract with left-back Chris Hussey.

Kenny, 37, moved to Gigg Lane in 1998 from non-league side Bradford Park Avenue and spent four years with the Shakers making 150 appearances.

The former Sheffield United, Queens Park Rangers and Leeds stopper left Ipswich at the end of last season.

Hussey, 26, has signed a new deal that will keep him at the club until 2018.

The former AFC Wimbledon and Coventry full-back initially joined the Shakers on loan from Burton at the end of the 2013/14 season and made a permanent move that summer.
