Bolton Wanderers reject administration and job loss claims

Bolton have rejected claims they are considering administration and that club staff could lose their jobs.

In April, the Wanderers' debt was up to £172.9m and they currently sit third from bottom of the Championship.

An article in the Daily Mail, external made the accusations about Bolton's plight.

"Whilst the club acknowledges it is going through a challenging time, there have been no threats to any staff jobs in the immediate future," said a statement on the Bolton website., external

"After consistent backing from owner Eddie Davies, the club continues to seek fresh investment in what is a difficult and challenging economic climate."
