Mark Yeates: Oldham Athletic winger signs contract extension

Oldham Athletic winger Mark Yeates has signed a new contract until the end of January with the League One side.

The 30-year-old, who joined the Latics in August on a short-term deal, has made 17 appearances and notched his only goal so far against Barnsley.

Yeates began his career as a trainee at Tottenham and his previous clubs also include Colchester, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United and Watford.

The Irishman was released by Bradford in the summer after 70 games for them.
