Wrexham: Simon Heslop signs and Rhys Taylor extends loan

Wrexham have signed midfielder Simon Heslop from Torquay and extended Newport County goalkeeper Rhys Taylor's loan until the end of the season.

Heslop, 28, joins the side after his short-term contract expired on Friday.

Taylor, 25, has kept two clean sheets in seven National League appearances since arriving on 29 October., external

But Joel Logan (Rochdale), Jon Nolan (Lincoln City), James Caton (Shrewsbury Town) and Taylor McKenzie (Notts County) have returned to their clubs.

And John Cofie has not been offered an extension to his trail period, having signed as a free agent in November and played in three games.
