Dan Holman: Cheltenham Town sign Colchester United forward

National League leaders Cheltenham Town have signed Colchester United forward Dan Holman on a free transfer.
Holman, 25, has spent much of this season on loan at Woking, scoring 14 goals in 26 games.
He began his career at Braintree before joining Colchester in July 2014 and has since had loan spells at Wrexham, Aldershot and Dover.
Holman has been given a deal until the end of the season with a view to extend his contract in the summer.
"We've been tracking him for a while," Cheltenham Town manager Gary Johnson told BBC Gloucestershire.
"We knew he was on loan but we knew we liked him and felt if we followed him sufficiently while making sure he was the right player for us we'd get in nice and quick if he became available. He became available and had other offers but I'm pleased he chose us.
"It's a great signing for us and an important one. He is a super goalscorer at this level."
