Graeme McDowell finished in a tie for 11th position at the Hero World Challenge in Florida after posting a final round of one-under-par 71.

The Portrush man carded seven birdies, four bogeys and a double bogey in an eventful final round to end the invitation tournament on eight under.

Jordan Spieth won on 26 under, 10 shots ahead of Henrik Stenson, with Patrick Reed and Keegan Bradley on 15 under.

Tiger Woods was joint last of the 18-strong field, along with Hunter Mahan.

Woods, making his return to action on his home course at the Isleworth Club, fired a closing 72 to end on level par.

Spieth shot a closing 66 to emphasise his domination of the event.

McDowell, a former winner of the event, began the final round in seventh place, but fell back four places on Sunday.
