Newbury: Night Of Thunder wins while Ryan Moore rides five-timer

Night Of Thunder beat Toormore to give trainer Richard Hannon a 1-2 in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury.
Last year's 2,000 Guineas winner, the 11-4 joint favourite ridden by James Doyle for owners Godolphin, edged out his stablemate by a neck.
Arod finished third, with Integral in fourth for jockey Ryan Moore.
Moore won five races at the Berkshire track at combined odds of 1,961-1, including a six-length win in the Al Rayyan Stakes on Telescope.
The jockey also scored on Birchwood (11-1), Adaay (4-1 favourite), Time Test (7-2 fav) and Crystal Zvezda (7-2).
Meanwhile, Hannon has next month's Royal Ascot meeting in mind for his leading duo.
"They will probably both go to Ascot for the Queen Anne," said
"As the year goes on the races open up in Europe. There's the Jacques le Marois, the Moulin. There are lots of lovely races and they don't have to go for the same ones."

The Hannon team again shows itself to be outstanding with top milers, Night Of Thunder joining flat racing greats Frankel and Brigadier Gerard in completing the 2000 Guineas/Lockinge double. |
The champion trainer indicated Toormore, runner-up by only a neck, might 'come on' more for the race so it would be no surprise if tables were turned in their Royal Ascot encounter in the Queen Anne Stakes. |
That said, both will be up against the world's joint highest rated horse Able Friend who's challenging from Hong Kong. |
