Half-backs Sneyd and Pryce could link up in the Hull FC side next season

Hull FC have signed Catalan Dragons half-back Leon Pryce and Salford Red Devils half-back Marc Sneyd for undisclosed fees for next season.

Pryce, 32, who has signed a two-year deal, is out of contract with the French side at the end this campaign.

The 23-year-old Sneyd is currently on loan with Castleford Tigers and has agreed a three-year contract.

"We are really pleased to have secured both players for next season," coach Lee Radford told the club website., external

Former Great Britain international Pryce started his career with Bradford - where he was a team-mate of Radford's - and won three Super League titles, two Challenge Cups and three World Club Challenge trophies.

Pryce made the move to St Helens in 2006, where he won five more trophies during a five-year spell before moving to France in 2012.

"There aren't many better CVs in the competition than that of Leon and that experience will be great for our young halves like Jordan Rankin, Jordan Abdull and Harry Tyson-Wilson," added Radford. "They can learn from a Grand Final winner and former Super League Young Player of the Year."

Sneyd made his debut for Salford in 2010 but struggled to get regular first-team rugby before joining Castleford, where he has impressed, helping the unfancied Tigers to fourth in the Super League table and the Challenge Cup semi-finals.

"Marc has a superb left-foot kicking game and a fantastic touch on the ball, which we think will give him the opportunity to blossom into a really good young British half-back," said Radford.
