Lee Radford's Hull FC side are bottom of the Super 8s table, 10 points behind the last play-off spot with three games of the season left

Hull FC coach Lee Radford has accused his players of being "mentally soft" during their heavy 46-16 defeat at Warrington Wolves on Sunday.

Radford's team were thrashed in the Super 8s contest to leave them eighth in the table, with only three matches left of their season.

Despite having nothing to play for, Radford wants his team to end strongly.

"Now we will find out if the boys can sink or swim," Radford told BBC Radio Humberside.

"At half time it was the first time I've been as frustrated as that and the reason is the energy and ticker shown. We approached the game in a mentally soft way.

"We have a kindergarten team and we're down to the bare bones."
