Warrington: Kevin Penny stays and Benjamin Jullien signs

Kevin Penny spent time on loan at North Wales Crusaders as well this season

Warrington have extended the contract of winger Kevin Penny and signed France international Benjamin Jullien.

Penny, 27, began his career at Wolves, but moved onto Wakefield and Swinton before returning in 2013.

He has scored 15 tries in his 21 appearances this season and has agreed a two-year extension.

Jullien, 20, who can play centre or second row, has earned a full-time deal after a trial, following a spell at North Wales Crusaders.

"Benjamin is a really exciting young prospect who has already represented his country," said head coach Tony Smith.

Penny made an explosive start to his career in debut year in 2007 and impressed enough for a place in the Super League Dream Team, but failed to establish a regular place and left in 2010.

"I am delighted to be here for the next two years and hopefully more," he said.

"I've been on an incredible journey so far and I'm glad it's not over yet. The club is moving in an even bigger direction and I'm honoured to be a part of that moving forward."
