Plymouth Albion 16-20 Cornish Pirates
- Published
Championship leaders Cornish Pirates maintained their unbeaten start to the season, but left it late at local rivals Plymouth Albion.
Gavin Cattle scored the first try for the Pirates early on but Albion refused to lie down.
Teenage fly-half Henry Slade made it a debut he will never forget as he went in under the posts after half an hour to earn Albion an interval lead.
The two sides then traded penalties until David Doherty's late try.
