Jersey have won five of their eight League One games this season

Jersey made it back-to-back wins with a nail-biting 19-18 victory away at lowly Stourbridge.

Scrum-half Dave McCormack scored the islanders' only try of the game following a quick penalty.

The rest of the Jersey points came from the boot of in-form Michael Le Bourgeois.

Tries from Nathan Bressington and Ben Barkley kept the hosts in touch but Jersey held on to win.

"It was a hard-fought victory and a tough old game, Jersey head coach Ben Harvey told BBC Radio Jersey.

"They scored mainly from our mistakes and, as soon as we started to cut them out, their opportunities diminished as well.

"If we can get on a roll now, who knows, you could find yourself in February right at the top of the table."

The result means Stourbridge drop to the bottom of the National League One table, while Jersey climb a place to 10th.
