Cornish Pirates got back on course after two straight losses with a 42-10 Championship win over London Scottish.

Sam Hill, Drew Locke, Charlie Walker-Blair and Rob Cook ran in tries as the Pirates led 30-10 at half-time.

David Doherty and Matt Evans crossed in the second half, as the Pirates claimed a bonus point to move up a place to fourth in the Championship table.

"We've been away for a while, it's been hard and it's worn us down," said boss Chris Stirling on BBC Radio Cornwall.

"But it's really nice to be back."
