Plymouth Albion's place in the end-of-season relegation play-offs was confirmed after defeat at Moseley.

In difficult conditions all the points came in the first half with Glyn Hughes kicking three penalties for the hosts and James Love replying for Albion.

The home side had flanker Neil Mason sin-binned before half-time but Albion could not make their advantage count.

Moseley missed a late chance to score the only try in injury time but by then they had already done enough to win.
