Errie Claassens: Bristol terminate South African's contract
- Published
Errie Claassens has left Bristol after his sole year at the Memorial Stadium was ruined by a pre-season knee injury.
The 32-year-old South African, who can play at full-back or wing, joined the Championship side from Premiership club Worcester Warriors last summer.
But he never made his debut, and leaves midway through a two-year contract.
"Errie is a gentleman and an excellent professional. It's a shame that things didn't work out for him here," said director of rugby Andy Robinson.
