Manchester City are still paying Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor £40,000 a week. The 29-year-old, who joined Tottenham in 2012 after spending the previous season on loan at White Hart Lane, came off the bench for his first appearance of the season in Spurs' 6-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium.
