Anderson posted a picture on Instagram of the medals he won as a Manchester United player

Following his free transfer move to Brazilian side Internacional, Anderson, 26, posted a picture on Instagram of all the medals he won at Manchester United. "I have made some amazing friends, all of whom are great players and will continue to do great things," he wrote.

QPR captain Joey Barton, 32, is disappointed that he will no longer get to work with Harry Redknapp, after Redknapp resigned as manager on Tuesday. "Wish Harry well. Enjoyed my time working with him. He was great with me," he wrote on Twitter.

Liverpool's Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva, 28, was pleased that compatriot Philippe Coutinho, 22, had signed a new contract with the club. He wrote: "Congratulations my friend on your new deal, you deserve it! I am very happy for you and I have no doubt you will be a Liverpool legend."

Reds striker Mario Balotelli, 24, posted a video of himself knocking a water bottle off a table with a football.

Lennon's first day at Everton

Aaron Lennon decides to write a response on Twitter after pictures of him at the Everton training base looking less than enthused by his new surroundings were published, following a loan move from Tottenham. "Even though I may not look it in the pics, I'm buzzing to be here, enjoyed my first day at training and everyone made me feel really welcome."

Darren Fletcher may have joined West Brom but he was almost named as a Manchester United substitute for the FA Cup replay against Cambridge United. United manager Louis van Gaal held a printout which featured Fletcher's name crossed out with marker pen and replaced by Ashley Young. (MailOnline)
