  1. Trick play - Giants take leadpublished at 18:10 GMT

New York Giants 7-0 Detroit Lions

The Giants open the scoring in Detroit after a bit of trickeration.

Jameis Winston tosses the ball to running back Devin Singletary, who then chucks it back to Winston, and the Giants quarterback unloads a 39-yard bomb to Wan'Dale Robinson in the end zone. Lovely stuff.

The Browns against Raiders is a game you'd hardly mention tonight but for Shedeur Sanders, who will get his first NFL start for Cleveland and look to prove a big point.

He made his debut last week off the bench, which is always tough, so after a week of practice can he really showcase his skills tonight?

  4. Goff aims to get back in the groove in Motownpublished at 17:58 GMT

The Philadelphia Eagles gave Jared Goff a torrid time last time out as the Detroit Lions quarterback completed just 14 of his 37 pass attempts for his lowest ever completion rate (37.8%).

The Lions were also restricted to just 74 rushing yards in last week's 16-9 loss in Philly, which saw them slip to a 6-4 record behind Chicago and Green Bay in the NFC North.

That looks set to be a fierce battle for a play-off spot so the Lions need to find some consistency, and they have a favourable match-up on paper today as they face a Giants team that is 2-9, recently sacked their head coach and has Jameis Winston starting at quarterback for a second straight week.

  5. Chiefs entering must-win territorypublished at 17:57 GMT

The Kansas City Chiefs are entering unfamiliar territory going into week 12 - must-win territory.

At 5-5, Andy Reid's side currently sit third in the AFC West behind leaders Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Chargers.

It's hard to imagine a post-season without the Chiefs. They haven't missed out on the play-offs since 2015 and have never missed out on them while Patrick Mahomes has been at quarterback.

If they lose today to the 8-2 Indianapolis Colts, that scenario goes from possible to probable.

  6. Rodgers misses Bears gamepublished at 17:57 GMT

Chicago Bears 'owner' Aaron Rodgers will miss a visit to Soldier Field he's usually enjoyed, as he usually left with a victory during his days at rivals Green Bay.

A wrist injury means Mason Rudolph will start under centre for the 6-4 Steelers, who lead the AFC North, but they'll have to play to the very end against Chicago's comeback kids.

The 7-3 Bears surprisingly lead the NFC North with seven wins in eight - five of those coming after being behind in the final two minutes of the game. Their last three have been been heartstopping victories, so keep an eye on this one late doors.

  7. Huge NFC North showdown at Lambeau Fieldpublished at 17:54 GMT

The Minnesota Vikings travel to Wisconsin to take on the Green Bay Packers in a huge divisional showdown.

Minnesota currently have the only losing record in the NFC North (4-6) and simply have to win to keep their play-off hopes alive.

Green Bay on the other hand could go first in the division should they get the win and current leaders, the Chicago Bears, lose to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It's the first time these two rivals have faced off this season and the Packers will be desperate for revenge after suffering a rare sweep from the Vikings last year.

It's getting a bit serious now...

Welcome to week 12 in the NFL and a huge test for the Kansas City Chiefs, who are right up against it and face a tough task just to make the play-offs. Their task gets no easier with the Indianapolis Colts to face tonight.

Aaron Rodgers misses out on playing the Chicago Bears due to injury, while the New England Patriots hope to keep marching on as they play the Bengals in Cincinnati.

There's a big AFC North clash in Green Bay as the Packers host the Vikings while Detroit host the New York Giants hoping to get back on track.

And you can listen to the Philadelphia Eagles taking on rivals Dallas later on on 5 Sports Extra - so stay right here for another bumper night on the gridiron.
