  1. Jacobs still out for Packerspublished at 19:52 GMT 16 November

Green Bay Packers 13-13 New York Giants

Jordan Love was sacked at the end of the first half and then takes a hit at the start of the second. That won't do his sore shoulder any good.

While the Green Bay quarterback was able to return to the game, the Packers' running back Josh Jacobs remains out after picking up a knee problem in the first half.

  2. field goal

Field goal - Titanspublished at 19:50 GMT 16 November

    Houston Texans 0-6 Tennessee Titans

Joey Slye stretches the Titans' lead with a 47-yard field goal after their first drive of the second half.

This game has been dull, to say the least, so far.

Are we on for a shock though? The Titans are the worst team in the NFL, at 1-8, and before today they had only played 14 snaps all season with a lead.

  3. touchdown

Touchdown - Pantherspublished at 19:50 GMT 16 November

    Carolina Panthers 16-21 Atlanta Falcons

Bryce Young left the game injured earlier but he's back on the field and showing no signs of any problems judging by a brilliant 36-yard throw into the end zone for Xavier Legette - who takes a great catch to bring Carolina back into this game.

Jameis Winston is one of the biggest personalities in the NFL so it's so good to see the 31-year-old quarterback get another chance in the NFL today.

While out of contract at the end of last season, he took the opportunity to gain some media experience during Super Bowl week. And he stole the show at Opening Night, asking Eagles and Chiefs players all sorts of questions, even chucking cookies at them.

Speaking to media this week about making his Giants debut in New York, he sang "it’s the greatest city in the world", before adding "that’s a Hamilton reference, if y’all don’t know".

  5. touchdown

Great start for Jacksonville in the second half with Trevor Lawrence going over for a short-range touchdown.

Lawrence comes out slinging it to drive down the field - including a big 21-yard gain on third down to Jakobi Meyers.

He gets a break when the Chargers are flagged for pass interference when he misses a throw on third-and-goal - and takes advantage by strolling through a huge gap up the middle for a one-yard rushing score.

  7. Half-time - Packers survive scarepublished at 19:42 GMT 16 November

Green Bay Packers 13-13 New York Giants

The Giants think they get the ball back 37 seconds before the half as the Packers fumble not once, but twice.

The first was by Jordan Love, who recovered to find Luke Musgrave, but then the tight end also spills it and this time it's recovered by the hosts.

But the play's reviewed and Love's pass was deemed incomplete so the Packers keep it after all. A sack on Love then forces Green Bay to punt and Jameis Winston takes a knee to bring up the half.

  8. What has happened so far tonight?published at 19:36 GMT 16 November

These early games are not really living up to the hype, but here are the big storylines so far.

Bills edging Bucs in game of the day

The battle of two 6-3 teams in Buffalo is turning into a thriller, with 31 points in the first half.

It's the Biills who are on top for now, winning 21-20. Josh Allen has thrown for two touchdowns and rushed for another.

    Packers injury drama at MetLife

Both quarterback Jordan Love and star running back Josh Jacobs went off injured for the Packers in their game in New York against the Giants.

Love returned to the field shortly after getting a shoulder injury checked out.

Jacobs is still out and his absence could be a huge blow for Green Bay's play-off hopes.

    It's 13-13 at half-time.

    Miami win historic Spanish game

In Sunday's early game, the Miami Dolphins beat the Washington Commanders in overtime in front of a crowd of 78,610 at Real Madrid's Bernabeu - the first NFL game played in Spain.

Jack Jones intercepted Marcus Mariota's first pass of overtime and Riley Patterson converted a 29-yard field moments later.

Relief for for Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, who passed up a late potentially-game-winning field goal chance in regular time to go for it on fourth down - which the Commanders stopped.

  9. field goal

Field goal - Bucspublished at 19:35 GMT 16 November

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20-21 Buffalo Bills

Tremendous drive from Baker Mayfield to end the half, going 53 yards in just over 30 seconds to set-up a Chase McLaughlin field goal try from 29 yards.

The first attempt is actually blocked by Buffalo, but only after some foul play on the line, so a flag comes in moving the kick five yards closer, with McLaughlin making no mistake second time around.

  10. touchdown

Touchdown - Giants draw levelpublished at 19:33 GMT 16 November

Green Bay Packers 13-13 New York Giants

Jameis Winston does well to lead the Giants downfield before a defensive pass interference call against Green Bay puts the hosts on the one-yard line.

Devin Singletary then gets in for his second touchdown of the day at MetLife Stadium.

The Packers missed out an extra point earlier and the Giants now follow suit so it stays level.

  11. field goal

Field goal - Steelerspublished at 19:31 GMT 16 November

    Cincinnati Bengals 6-10 Pittsburgh Steelers

Chris Boswell extends the Steelers' lead in this punt fest, with a field goal just before half-time.

Highlight of that drive was 21-stone tight-end Darnell Washington barrelling over three Bengals defensive players as he charged down the field on a 31-yard catch-and-run.

Six straight punts in this one before the field goal - let's hope for a better second half.

  12. Turnover - McCarthy intercepted againpublished at 19:28 GMT 16 November

    Chicago Bears 10-3 Minnesota Vikings

JJ McCarthy takes a deep shot towards Justin Jefferson but he's in coverage and it's picked off in the end zone by Chicago cornerback Nahshon Wright. The Vikings receiver didn't really have a chance with that one.

Minnesota quarterback McCarthy has been picked off on successive drives and has now been intercepted eight times from 127 attempts this season.

  13. touchdown

Touchdown - Billspublished at 19:26 GMT 16 November

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17-21 Buffalo Bills

Big plays killed Tampa Bay last week against the Patriots, and it's happening again with Ty Johnson taking a short pass and turning it into a 52-yard touchdown run down the left sideline.

The Bucs have done a solid job on defence overall so far - but just two big plays - that Josh Allen pass to Tyrell Shavers and Johnson's big run have cost them 14 points.

You just can't give up those big plays against an offence like Buffalo's.

  14. field goal

Field goal - Pantherspublished at 19:24 GMT 16 November

    Carolina Panthers 10-21 Atlanta Falcons

Carolina get into double figures thanks to Ryan Fitzgerald knocking over a chip shot from 29 yards out with just over a minute left in the half.

  15. Are Bears contenders or pretenders in play-off race?published at 19:23 GMT 16 November

    Chicago Bears 10-3 Minnesota Vikings

    BBC iPlayer

On this week's episode of The Whole 10 Yards, Yahoo Sports reporter Jori Epstein was asked whether the Chicago Bears will make it into the play-offs:

"It's tough because I think they will be right in it at the end and I think it's just going to be a numbers game where they will be left out of it.

"I think everyone knows that what their offence has done in the first year under Ben Johnson is exactly what the Chicago Bears want to see and should give them real encouragement for next year - and also the late game wins.

"But I just ultimately think that there's going to be a numbers game and it's going to be a rough answer for the Chicago Bears."

  16. HT: Jags in chargepublished at 19:22 GMT 16 November

Los Angeles Chargers 6-14 Jacksonville Jaguars

Tough first half for Justin Herbert with a patched-up offensive line not holding up too well against the Jags defence - he's been sacked twice and hit five times, including a couple of big ones as well.

He's still got more completions and yards than Trevor Lawrence - although 81-67 is nothing to write home about, but Lawrence has had a better run game to lean on with 86 yards and two scores on the ground for the Jags.

  17. touchdown

Touchdown - Falconspublished at 19:20 GMT 16 November

    Carolina Panthers 7-21 Atlanta Falcons

The ground and pound is doing the job for Atlanta, with two touchdowns already for Bijan Robinson and now one for Tyler Allgeier as he goes over on a one-yard plunge into the end zone.

Falcons in control as he approach half-time.

  18. field goal

Field goal - Bears extend lead after McCarthy interceptedpublished at 19:18 GMT 16 November

    Chicago Bears 10-3 Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota quarterback JJ McCarthy is intercepted by Chicago safety Kevin Byard.

The Bears then fail to gain a first down but are close enough for Cairo Santos to kick a 38-yard field goal and extend their lead.

  19. touchdown

Touchdown - Packers take leadpublished at 19:13 GMT 16 November

Green Bay Packers 13-7 New York Giants

Romeo Doubs has had a couple of drops for Green Bay but makes a 22-yard reception on the drive, which also featured a 24-yard grab by fellow receiver Matthew Golden, before back-up running back Emanuel Wilson burst through the middle for a 11-yard score to put the Packers in front.

  20. Allen intercepted againpublished at 19:10 GMT 16 November

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17-14 Buffalo Bills

Buffalo go for it on fourth down again, but when Josh Allen tries to squeeze a throw to Dawson Knox over the middle the ball's deflected up in the air and caught by the Bucs for a second interception of the game.

That's not all on Allen as it was fourth down so they'd have turned the ball over anyway, and at least they've got a few extra yards since it was intercepted - but it wasn't the best throw either and into pretty tight coverage.

More to blame was the call - with Allen back there and James Cook, on fourth-and-2 you surely run the ball if you're Buffalo?
