World stars compete at Alpine World Ski Championships

World stars including Lindsey Vonn, Mikaela Shiffrin, Henrik Kristoffersen and Marco Odermatt are competing at the Alpine World Ski Championships, which are being held in Austria and you can watch live on the BBC.
Great Britain have sent 14 skiers to the event, which is their largest contingent at a World Championships
Veteran slalom skier Dave Ryding leads the team, with World Cup regulars Billy Major, Laurie Taylor, Victoria Palla and Roy Steudle also selected.
More than 600 skiers from 70 countries will compete in the 48th edition of the championships, which are being hosted in Saalbach-Hinterglemm in the Austrian Alps, and there are 11 medal events from 4-16 February.
