The Blades finally secured their first league victory of the season with a dramatic late winner against Wolves.

Captain Oliver Norwood was composed among the noise to slot home the penalty in 99 minutes and 16 seconds, scoring the third latest winner in the Premier League.

Sheffield United have scored from their last five penalties awarded in the league, with John Lundstram the last player who failed to convert a spot-kick in September 2020 against Aston Villa.

United were poor in the first half but much improved after the break with Cameron Archer, Gustavo Hamer and James McAtee firing shots over the bar.

Archer's second goal of the season was a superb solo effort as he left the Wolves defenders in his wake and fired a shot which went off the crossbar and in.

Paul Heckingbottom's side will look to build on their positive result when they travel to Brighton next weekend.
