Fleck departs for Blackburn

Sheffield United have announced long-serving midfielder John Fleck has joined Championship side Blackburn Rovers on a permanent deal.

Fleck signed for the Blades in 2016 and has played a key role in promotions from League One and the Championship as well as a winning a number of Player of the Year awards.

The 32-year-old made a total of 278 appearances for the club, scoring 16 goals, and made his final appearance against Liverpool in December.
