Hancock wins Island Games long jump gold for Guernsey

Guernsey's Vicky Hancock has won her second Island Games medal as she leapt to victory in the long jump.
Hancock - who broke the island triple jump record in winning bronze on Sunday - recorded a distance of 5.35m to retain the title she won on home soil two years ago.
She was just three centimetres ahead of Shetland's Abbie Taylor while fellow Shetland jumper Evan Thompson took the bronze.
She was one of three Guernsey medallists on the third night of athletics in Kirkwall as Nic Ackermann won men's 400m hurdles gold and Darcey Hodgson took silver in the women's event.
"I was hoping to do well and I have done well, so I'm really happy," Hancock told BBC Radio Guernsey
"The first time I did it there was a big crowd and everyone I knew was here, so having a celebration there were lots of cheers.
"There's fewer cheers but it's still lovely to be here and there's a big crowd and a good competitive atmosphere."
Bown adds to her gold medal tally

Guernsey's Chloe Bown added to the a fourth gold medal to her tally as she took the 200m individual medley title.
Having won three golds on Monday night Bown finished three seconds ahead of teammate Oriana Wheeler.
Bown went on to add 200m breaststroke silver before teaming up with Wheeler, Tatiana Tostevin and Orla Rabey to narrowly lose in the final of the 4x50m medley relay.
The Guernsey quartet were just 0.1 seconds off the gold medal winning Faroe Islands.
Tostevin earlier won the silver in the 100m backstroke as Faroes' Elisabeth Erlendsdottir set a new Island Games record while Riley won bronze in the 1,500m freestyle.
