Tour de France star Sir Mark Cavendish, Olympic equestrian Yasmin Ingham and Wimbledon debutant Billy Harris lead the nominations for the top awards in Manx sport.
The winners of the Isle of Man Sports Awards will be announced at a ceremony at the Villa Marina on 27 February.
Sir Mark became the most successful sprinter in cycling history last July when he secured a record 35th stage win in the Tour de France.
Andy Varnom, Executive Chairman of Isle of Man Sport, said the shortlist demonstrated the "strength in depth across multiple sports".
He added: "It also shines a light on the individuals that work tirelessly behind the scenes to allow so many to enjoy sport and fulfil their potential."
The 11 categories include Sportsman of the Year, Sportswoman of the Year, Disability Sportsperson of the Year, Isle of Man Ambassador of the Year, Sports Coach of the Year and Under 21 Sportsperson of the Year.
Those eligible for the awards must be Manx-born or have lived on the island for at least two years.
Minister for Education, Sports and Culture, Daphne Caine, said the event was a "great platform to honour some of the outstanding performers in 2024 and hear the stories behind their achievements on the global stage".
The shortlist was drawn up by the Isle of Man Sports Award Committee from public nominations.
