Amy Foster's time of 11.54 was .14 outside her personal best set in May

Amy Foster was .14 outside her Northern Ireland and Irish record-equalling 100m mark as she clocked 11.54 in the B race at the Diamond League meeting in Glasgow on Saturday.

Foster appeared to start well but lost ground as she finished ninth and last in the event won by Dafne Schippers in a new Dutch record of 11.03.

The Northern Irishwoman was in action in the same stadium where she will run in the upcoming Commonwealth Games.

Foster clocked 11.40 in the US in May.

Heptathlete Schippers produced a stunning run to take victory as she finished ahead of American athletes Tianna Bartoletta [11.07] and English Gardiner [11.16].

Those also ahead of Foster included British trio Desiree Henry [11.40], Sophie Papps [11.50] and Louise Bloor [11.51] who occupied sixth to eighth places.
