Glasgow-bound NI Commonwealth Games athletes in good form

Many of the athletes who will represent Northern Ireland in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow showed good form at an international meeting at the Mary Peters Track in Belfast.

Hurdler Ben Reynolds was just outside his season's best, while sprinter Amy Foster, who competed at the last Games in Delhi, won the 100 metres.

Leon Reid made it a Northern Ireland sprint double by winning the men's 100 metres and Zoe Brown set a new Northern Ireland all-comers record at 4.31 metres in the pole vault.

The Antrim woman is set to compete in her fourth Commonwealth Games and is currently ranked third of the competitors who will take part in the women's pole vault in Glasgow.
