Olympic champion Greg Rutherford warmed up for the World Championships in Beijing by winning the long jump at the Stockholm Diamond League meeting.
The 28-year-old jumped 8.34m on Thursday and now leads the Diamond Race standings by five points.
It will give Rutherford confidence as he looks to add World Championship gold to his Olympic, European and Commonwealth titles.
Briton Lynsey Sharp was narrowly beaten by France's Renelle Lamote in the 800m.
The 2012 European champion, also part of the 62-strong GB Squad heading to China in August, ran a time of two minutes 0.29 seconds, with Lamote winning with 1:59.91.
Martyn Rooney, in the GB 4x400m relay squad for the World Championships but not selected for the individual event, ran a season best of 45.41 secs to finish third in the 400m.
It was Rutherford's performance which stood out, with the Briton producing one of his best series of leaps - 8.34m, 8.32m, 8.13m - before retiring.
He also defeated one of his main rivals, US champion Marquis Dendy who has leapt a wind-assisted 8.68m this year and won last weekend's Diamond League meeting in London.
The World Championships take place 22-30 August.
